Meet with Corinna of First Senior Home Protection, and you will quickly understand their dedication to the senior population, their passion about doing the right thing for seniors, and their insistence on protecting seniors’ futures.

In an industry that is relatively young,  Corinna is a reverse mortgage expert. Over the last two years, eighty-six percent more mortgage companies have gotten into the reverse mortgage industry.  Aunt Ruth

I got interested in the Reverse Mortgage product 6 1⁄2 years ago when my great aunt Ruth told me that she was able to remain in her beautiful home on the bay in Ocean City, NJ and live out her life tending her roses due to a Reverse Mortgage (see photos on right).

I went to the National Reverse Mortgage convention in South Beach, FL that year, 2002, and found that HUD introduced the Reverse Mortgage Program in the 1980’s. When they put together the prototype they included quite a few steps to protect the senior population including a HUD approved counselor that each senior must meet with before making application for the Reverse Mortgage.

After hearing about the stop gaps that were put in place to protect the seniors, Corinna and I got actively involved in the Reverse Mortgage world. We’ve learned that a Reverse Mortgage (when it is truly the right thing for a senior to do) always changes their lives for the better.

My aunt passed away at the age of 94 in her beloved home. I think that she would really enjoy the fact that I am now helping other seniors live out their lives in their own homes like she was able to do.
